Post Death Trip

Hi all

Death Trip got into the bestsellers and is continuing to sell well. If I am absolutely truthful - maybe not as well as had been expected of it – it was hoped it would get into the top ten and that would have been awesome but it wasn’t to be.  I guess with the recession, and all that, it suffered a blip. But, its weekly sales continue to be good so maybe it’s a grower – it’s still in the charts everywhere..

Onwards and whatever....I am so enjoying writing book 4.This is turning out different to my others. I have an outline but I am letting it grow organically within that. I keep returning to the beginning and editing to make sure I am not missing anything.

I want to share a couple of photos with you. The first is Cindy.

Cindy lives in Olongapo in the Philippines. It’s the place I visited to stay with Father. Shay Cullen and, in the past, a major sex tourist destination.  Cindy has been really supportive of my book The Trafficked and has lobbied her government to push for the anti paedophile pornography laws. I sent her a copy of Death Trip to thank her for her good work.

Next...these are my old friends from left: Dee, Ted, Me, Ted’s wife Catherine, and Brian.  On arriving in Hong Kong many years ago I shared a flat with Dee, Ted and Brian. It was magical to see them all again. I haven’t seen Ted for 27 years.

My son Rob has gone to uni now. It’s all change in my house...so quiet... but on the plus side .. I hardly need to go food shopping anymore and the place stays tidy – wish that meant something – really miss the mess...x

I really enjoyed 'Trafficked' and 'Death Wish' but had been unable to find 'The Trophy Taker' until trawling ebay today, keep up the fantastic job you are doing. Cathryn

I found your book "The Trophy Taker" by accident. I am glad I did.It brought back memories of when we lived in Hong Kong in the late seventies. They were busy building the mass transit railway then. We spent two wonderful years there. I loved the book. I read it through in about 36hours. I couldn't put it down for long. I am looking forward to finding "Trafficked" and "Death Trip" . Keep up the good work. Will look forward to more of them. Janette

I have read all your books and just cant wait to read the next, please dont leave it too long, now johnny mann has a brother maybe he will be able to help him out now and again.
Thanks for some of the best reading i have ever read.
Thank you Shirley. Yes - be prepared for lots of JM's past to come back to haunt him. Next book Victoria Chan emerges ready to revenge her husband and take over the world by tempting JM to the dark side. Then,in the book after Georgina gets on a plane back to HKG with a child!!! Could be Mann's or could be Chans! So glad you are enjoying the books. Leex
